Hi,
I'm looking for three kind of story:

1 - Underestimated Sheppard: for his military background or his intelligence or, why not, sexually, anything where people think is not so good or underestimate his skills and then something happens and they change their mind.
2- Not slash Atlantis secedes from Earth : I like slash, I really do, there are just two het couples that  I reeeeaaly like to read and one of them is Sheppard/Weir, so ...
3- "You don't have to do everything" Ronon - 5x01 : team fics where one of them keep doing everything like he/she doesn't trust the others or he/she thinks that is his/her job. A good team confrontation would be hawsome!

Do I ask too much? Pleaseee

Brilliant John

Good afternoon, SGA fen! I'm kind of late to the SGA love but I'm hoping there is someone out there who can still help me.

I'm looking for stories with a brilliant John. Specifically, a John who in the course of his normal duties as military commander/protector of the geek/savior of Atlantis steps forward with some seriously brilliant math, engineering, etc. either in a moment of crisis or totally out of the blue in the labs or whatever. Bonus points for when he surprises the hell out of everyone else, including Rodney. Bonus, bonus points for Rodney trying to poach him from the military.

I'm not really looking for an AU where John never joins the military or is a prodigy or anything like that. I'd prefer if it stayed within the bounds of John's cannon role (with just a twist). Ideally, I'm imagining a John who is brilliant but decided he loved flying better and is perhaps a little ashamed or unconfident about his smarts because he's surrounded by genius level people everyday and just didn't think anything he might offer couldn't be offered faster and better by someone else.

As an example, think John's epiphany in Part 10 of the incredible Indelible by Shaenie. (It's a minor scene starting after the second break)

Gen or McShep is fine. Minor scenes or whole fics, I'll take whatever you can think of. And thank you for taking the time to help out!
