A few days ago someone was looking for "... any fic with a fuck-or-die situation (native ritual, sex!pollen, etc.) BUT with John as the bottom and Rodney as the top."

I'm looking for the same thing but with the roles reversed.

Vengeful John? Protective John?

I'm not quite sure where this would fit... I want SuperProtectiveVengeful!John, not just regular Protective!John.

There are many wonderful stores that feature a protective John getting furious over someone who's slighted Rodney in the past.... past lovers who abused him, his piano teacher, Sam getting him banished to Siberia; etc etc.

What I'm looking for - and I have no idea if they even exist - are stories where John actually *does* something about it. One of Rodney's old nemeses shows up and John -uh- takes care of things, or they end up on Earth and oh look, I can make life hell for the shit head that abused Rodney....

I know there are a couple where Rodney takes care of John ("Disappointing Yoda" comes to mind, there are many others, but I have antihistamine brain fog at the moment) but I can't think of a single example of the other way round.

Nature of the beast means likely McShep - but any paring where Rodney is avenged would be cool. (slash preferred, but not essential)

Kaelie offered two lovely stories (I thank you)- and while sort of what I'm looking for not quite. I'm thinking more of people who've hurt Rodney in the past - think "Ryan" the abusive SOB from Boilerbmw's "Finding Rodney", or any of the both canon and non canon piano teachers - or even Jeanie a la Sardonicsmiley's How the Millers Relaxed and Learned to Love Rodney (another excellent story).
I love vicious John and Protective John (add Solder!John and I'm so there.... Keira Marcos is my hero )
