Misconception of McKay or Sheppard Fic

I'm looking for any fics that show interactions between McKay, Sheppard, and the other Lanteans (either soldier or scientist). Specifically, I'm looking for a McShep fic that deals with either the soldiers or scientists having the wrong perception of either McKay or Sheppard, but then one of the guys does something brave (suicide mission, crazy stunt that saves the day, etc) or suffers something tragic (rape, torture, etc) that changes everyones mind. I prefer McShep but am open to any pairing as long as one of the boys is the main character. Also, no sad endings please. There can be character death of McKay or Sheppard as long as they somehow "come back to life" and everything ends in puppies and rainbows. :) I don't know if any fics like this have been written, so if not, there's a virtual giant chocolate chip cookie for anyone who is willing to tackle this. By the way, the longer the better. Thanks.

Looking for Carter is wrong fics

Hi, I've looked through previous posts and can't find anything that matches this:

I'm looking for any fics where Carter ignores, dismisses, belittles or misjudges Rodney.   I'm particularly interested in fics where other people on Atlantis notice and either don't like it or take their cue from her.   Long stories would be best but anything would be great.

I've read Tarlan's  'Mirror, Mirror On the Wall' and I'd prefer a less evil Carter than that.
