Rodney's language skills

I recently read a fic where Rodney ends up talking French on a planet where the language is something resembling French. John knew about two sentences and had Rodney convinced he could actually speak French.


So now I'm curious if there are more fics where Rodney speaks some other language than English. Preferably McShep, but mainly I'm just looking for fics where the others *don't* speak the language in question and are impressed/surprised to find out McKay's fluent in it.

I'm looking for two things:

1: Rodney and John get together, shag like the proverbial bunnies etc and Rodney reads more into it than John. John thinks it's casual, Rodney thinks it's love, that kind of thing. Anything where Rodney discovers it by seeing John then date someone else, ensuing angst would be great. Bonus for a happy McSheppy ending where John finally realises he wants Rodney.

2: John rejecting Rodney at first, then slowly realising he actually wants to be with him.

Basically angst with the 'yay' factor.

Enemy at the Gate, declassified fic

Hey, so I've been noticing a serious lack of tags for Enemy at the Gate!  Seeing as I loved the idea of declassification of the Stargate Program even before, I'm now being terribly taunted!  Anyone have any links to stuff that's been written?  Some them-getting-interviewed fic, or whatnot.  I'd also like to see any fics of them just chilling on Earth, especially the Earth boys showing Ronon and Teyla around - hotdogs, steak, driving, shopping malls, airports, that sort of thing.  Or if anyone wants a more specific prompt in this area I'd be more than happy to oblige with a wide range possibilities!

Alrighty, I'm in the mood for some AUs for some reason, but specifically two kinds:

1. Any AUs that have Rodney and Radek in starring or at least prominent roles. Rodney+Radek interaction preferred, obviously, and Rodney/Radek loved, as I've only seen one AU with that pairing.

2. Any AUs that recreate the Kolya torture/interrogation scene. Or have Kolya as a major villain at all really, but I would love to see the different interpretations of that scene in particular. Only one I remember reading is Arizona.

Pairing-wise, as said Rodney/Radek is love, but I like pretty much any other pairings as well (except for Katie Brown/Rodney and Keller/Rodney).

Any help would be appreciated!
