Bad Boy/Girlfriends Hurt Poor Shep

So, this post in sgastoryfinders left me with a hankering for any fics where Sheppard is a little messed up from previous relationships. He starts to think that people only like him for his looks, he's not really lovable, love is pain and he deserves to be alone, etc. I know there are plenty of fics out there where McKay has some self-worth issues because of abusive ex-boy/girlfriends, but there must be writers out there who like to torture Sheppard. Ideally, if McKay were there to make it all better, that would be kinda cool too.

Examples:
The Other Man by boilerbmw, where Sheppard experiments with homosexuality with a rather uncaring partner.

In His Father's Shadow by The Huntress, where Sheppard's college boyfriend dragged him into the porn business, not really willingly. This would be more of an extreme example... I'm more looking for general emotional issues, not life-altering traumas.

Aegis by Leah and Springwoof, where Sheppard's previous relations keep dying on him, making him think he's the cause.

Hi y'all, I'm looking for fic where John and Rodney are having a secret relationship, or want to start a relationship, but are advised against it or warned off it by their friends and/or superiors. 

There are lots of really wonderful stories out there where the boys worry about DADT only to discover that everyone around them secretly knew they were and item, or should be an item, and were ok with it.  But I want to know what happens when people either aren't ok with it, or want to warn them off it for their own sakes or just plain do not get it and want it to go away.

Secondly, any stories like the, and/or including situations where someone suggests it's Rodney's fault, or that he's caused/changed John's sexuality.

Can be AU's, gendermash-up, AMTDI...anything really.

Long break from Earth

What if the Daedalus hadn't shown up at the end of season 1?  Or if it took the Atlantis expedition years to find a ZPM and dial Earth?  What would they do?  How would they cope?  Who would they form alliances with?

I'm looking for stories where there is a break between the expedition leaving, and contact with Earth being re-established.  I'd like them to contact Earth eventually, but for a long period of time to have passed.

Any suggestions?  (Please help me procrastinate about the housework by reading fic!)
