John working in the science dept

I just read an awesome fic where John impressed the hell out of Rodney by solving a complex equation, after which Rodney tells John that if soldiering ever gets old he would be welcome on the science team. I'm dying to read any fic where that actually happened. For whatever reason John is no longer military, retired, disabled, whatever, and Rodney takes him on in the science dept. I am not interested in the Mensa AUs at this time. I read McShep, but a gen fic that is primarily focused on them would be fine.

 Hello,

So what I'm searching for is "Rodney has a fever", the fever can be caused by anything.

I'm more interested by McShep, OT4 or gen, but please feel free to rec any genre, I'm sure other will appreciate (if you could just tell which genre you are recommending, it'll be fantastic :) ).

And one last request, please warn for death fics.
