Rodney sacrificing himself

I'm in the mood for drama, so I'd like to read some stories wherein Rodney throws himself in front of a bullet/spear/knife/steel beam/whatever to save John. Like the very satisfying Fault Lines by greyias.

I don't care if it's gen or slash, all I ask for is that it's dramatic. Thanks in advance!

I'm looking for all and any AUs where the guys play professional sports. I prefer McShep but love a good Team/Gen. I'll accept any sport except golf - not even Rodney and John snarking at each other can make that travesty interesting.

Please warn me for bottom!John (not my favuourite thing)
