Ascended/Ancient!John Stories

(Hi, sorry if this is not the place to ask this - let me know and I'll take it down if it isn't...)

Looking for any and all stories involving John being an Ancient (either knowingly or unknowingly) or ascending or being offered ascention and getting angsty over having to decide.  I'm surprised how little of this genre I can find, and I'm wondering if I am just not looking in the right place.

I found a lovely one where John ascends, and returns with no memory except of being in love with Rodney...and them promptly lost it...

So now I'm jonesing for this genre.

Any ideas?
