AU + Whumped Sheppard + McKay to the Rescue

Hello everyone. I'm in the mood for some whumped Shep (who isn't in this fandom ;) ) but in an AU setting (by AU I mean there is no Stargate, not at all). Now to make this a little more fun, not only must Sheppard be whumped, but McKay has to save/comfort/nurse him somehow.

Examples:
Wide Open Ocean by setissma... Sheppard gets hurt, and McKay nurses him back to health.
Lean On Me by elayna88... Sheppard is almost whumped, but McKay saves him.
Hegira by Kellifer_fic... Sheppard is experimented on and McKay must help him escape from his captors and come to terms with what's happened to him.
