I've checked the tags and I've not seen this, so I'm hoping I'm not repeating too badly, but I really crave fics in which John pines for Rodney. Yes, I'm in that kind of mood. Angsty but with a happy ending would suit me exactly.

You can always check the Pining!John tag @ Crossroads (http://sga.fictionresource.com/fic_index.php?tag=00207); from there I recognize the following stories as good reccing material, but as it's been a while since I read them I can't tell you if they have a happy ending or resolution (beside the McShep angle): "Symptomology" by kassrachel, "Once Upon a Furry Octopus" by skoosiepants, "Her Way" by blackchaps (features a sentient!Atlantis) and "Crush" by sheafrotherdon. Hope this helps a bit. :-)
