I have a deep desire to read fics wherein Rodney is coping (well, or poorly, either way) the the TONS of PTSD he should have by the time he's turned around twice in Atlantis. I expect there to be fics out there, but I am finding a surprising lack of such. Being a person who lives with PTSD I *know* how intrusive and life-impacting it is, but I don't see much of it in fics where Rodney is concerned. And to me, he's the one who would be most affected.

McShep is ideal. But friendship is ok. No het please. No Rodney or John die permanently fics. Angst, torture, non-con, etc, all ok. Nothing utterly hopeless, dark is ok, but it needs to end on an upswing.

Have you looked in the The Deranged Mckay Masterlist, gathered by korilian? I think you may find something that fits the bill there. It's also linked in the !Local Collection of Lists! found in the sidebar of this Comm. :)

Not exactly PTSD, but Rodney can't sleep after he returns to Earth. 264 Hours (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/358631.html#cutid1). Summary: Set after Siege. The battle is over, except in Rodney's mind.
