Wassup fellow SGA lovers! I was hoping you wonderful people could help me find some good AU's. I'm a Shepwhore, so I prefer ones centering around John, more specifically with him down on his luck in some way. (no job, no income, injured etc.) I will take any good John AU's though. I like McShep and prefer it not to be angst filled (a littles cool)

Thanks so much in advance!!!

John is down on his luck semi angsty with a happy ending.

Converging by Purna (http://purna.livejournal.com/22055.html)

Not Past Saving by kyrdwyn (http://kyrdwyn.livejournal.com/168357.html#cutid1) This one's not an au, but it's short and it fits all the other requirements if you're interested.

If you check the tags I just asked for AU's a couple of days ago. Not much in the way of John down on his luck, but soem GREAT AU's none the less.
Cheers for this request though, as some of the recs here are new to me.

Cheers!

Second Best (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=12518) by [livejournal.com profile] sgamadison, McShep, NC-17, has a down-on-his-luck John (Jay) taken from his 'gate-free universe by the SGA team missing a Sheppard in Atlantis. Some existential angst of the woe-I'm-not-the-great-hero-just-his-shadow-clone variety, some comfort sex, a few heroic deeds, and finally, a sequel (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=13186) to cement the deal. :-)
