Friendship Fics

Hiya folks!

This request is probably too general, but hopefully you guys can help me anywayz.

I'm looking for any fics that really focus on the friendship between two characters. My favorite combo is Sheppard and McKay, but I'll take anything (preferably gen).

If H/C more your thing, Dasha on Area 52 has good gen friendship stories. Try the "salt of the earth" series. http://www.area52hkh.net/author.php?name=Dasha

These two have awesome Sheppard and Mckay friendship stories usually with Zelenka in there as well. They do write slash but they keep it at a different place so you'll be fine reading any Atlantis stories at these links. Their slash series Geeks and Goons guides are really good and with no explicit sex you might want to check them out as well. There is a link on either page if interested.

I Feel the Earth Move (http://janusglance.livejournal.com/306285.html) by janusglance. This story is like jumping ahead several seasons and watching the series finale without knowing quite what's going on. It's brilliant. I love it so, so much.

Who's Left and Who's Leaving (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_flashfic/663538.html) by fiercelydreamed has some fantastic McKay and Sheppard moments.

Candle in the Dark (http://friendshipper.laylalawlor.com/candle.shtml) by friendshipper is long, plotty, claustrophobic, and deliciously, nail-bitingly thrilling. Check out anything by friendshipper, really, as she writes fantastic character-based gen.

You could check the Sheppard and McKay friendship memories at stargateficrec (most of which have been recced by *ahem* me, but there are quite a few in there!). You could also try stargategenrec if you don't know about it; there are tags for each character and many of the stories are friendship-focused. There are also quite a few friendship fics at sga_genficathon, which I'm running right now.

A few of my favorite friendship authors are Tipper, NotTasha, Kodiak Bear Country, LikeTheRiver, Sazz, X-Parrot, Stealth Dragon, skypig21, and Cybersyd. Also my favorites at my ff.net page are pretty much all friendship.
