I am off sick, and would like some recs for some lovely *long* and *good* fics, teamfic, slash, I don't mind. But I like to read things others have enjoyed. Preference is for gen or McShep, but I'll take a gander at most things! I'm aware of SGA Big Bang, so don't just rec me that please! I'd really like some personal recs that you've enjoyed!! Thanks :)

Have you tried sga_madison's fics? She's gotten an lj account recently but has been steadily reposting her excellent (McShep) fics there; all her stuff has been up on WraithBait (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewuser.php?uid=1593) all this time, though, and I for one couldn't believe what an excellent writer I have been missing out on! I loved "Second Best" and its sequel (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewseries.php?seriesid=143); her alter!John was great, and I loved him and felt for his plyght virtually from the get-go.

Have you tried miss porcupine's fics? http://www.offpanel.net/dmz/sga.html that's her webpage. She writes Atlantis better than the scriptwriters do. All gen but the best.

Tipper (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/34863/Tipper) and NotTasha (http://www.fanfiction.net/u/7023/NotTasha) are the best of the best in Gen Team fic. Expect much Mckay whumping, some Sheppard whumping and all-around great Teyla and Ronon (Ford in some of the earlier stories, of course).
