I've been wondering if there are any stories where the Atlantis expedition give the gene therapy to their allies or anyone really.

I know in the show they say they are going to give it to the people on the planet where the gene carriers are like feudal lords and they live in the duplicate atlantis (the one where Rodney starts up the star drive to deplete their zpm/energy really fast.

I also read a gender-bender story (where Rodney is turned into a female) where they go to a planet where the one guy with the gene keeps the villagers safe from the Wraith with a shield only he can operate and he hits on Rodney and Sheppard gets mad, they eventually figure out he's basically holding the village captive to his goodwill. So again they decide to give the townspeople the gene therapy to even out the odds a bit.

I wonder if there are any other stories out there where this happens that Atlantis gives the gene therapy away. They never mention on the show if they tried it on the Athosians, or maybe this would be sacriledge to them as they worship the Ancestors, or maybe they'd be honored.

I like the idea that they would reward loyal allies with the therapy.
Anyone know any like this?
