I'm looking for mpreg-John. The tags for mpreg just take me to recs for Rodney or Crossroads- any suggestions or recommendations? I've already read the Beckett/Sheppard story by Kez

I prefer slash (mcshep is best but not mandatory) and a little bit of angst but a happy ending...

Thanks in advance!

He's Having Her Baby (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/hhhb!.html) which you need to read before He's Having His Baby (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/hhhisb!.html)

Misery to Man (http://trinityofone.livejournal.com/79553.html) (this one disturbs me too much, so I don't really re-read it that often)

Taking the Long Way Home (http://sardonicsmiley.livejournal.com/39997.html) (there's a version of Pregnant John in this one)

Counting the Days (http://seekergeek.livejournal.com/24966.html)

Hail Mary (http://www.caffiends.net/viewstory.php?sid=406) (umm...kinda not the normal MPREG you're expecting)

A Female Thing (http://www.wraithbait.com/viewstory.php?sid=9854) (gender switch)

Mating Rituals in the Pegasus Galaxy (http://littera-abactor.livejournal.com/5513.html) (at the end)

She's Taller Than Most (http://kellifer-fic.livejournal.com/105302.html) (gender switch)

JohnPreg tag on the Atlantis MPREG community (http://community.livejournal.com/atlantis_mpreg/tag/john%21mpreg)

Not the Daddy (http://kodiak-bear.livejournal.com/1333.html) (where John's pregnant, but kinda not...I really, really love this story)

Changes and Consequences (http://community.livejournal.com/sga_santa/29397.html)

Story of a Girl (http://seperis.livejournal.com/501164.html) (AU genderswitch)

First Thought (http://community.livejournal.com/mcsheplets/29895.html)

Cracklantis (http://tafadhali.livejournal.com/551296.html) (I really liked this story and...the kid has an interesting family)

I can't believe I almost forgot about these - the cracktastic fun that is He's Having Her Baby! (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/hhhb!.html) followed by He's Having His Baby! (http://glitterati.talkoncorners.net/fiction/hhhisb!.html), by [livejournal.com profile] rageprufrock.

This is a sequel to Misery to Man by Gaia that makes it a little less disturbing. http://gaia.fictionresource.com/fic.php?story_id=00065

I want to thank the compilers of this list! I've enjoyed many of these: most especially the Having Her/His Baby stories, First Thought, and Hail Mary.

However, for ANYONE who stumbles onto this list, I feel a warning is imperative on Not the Daddy--at 35 chapters, it is SUPER LONG, especially if you read the sequel at 20 chapters--which you kinda have to b/c NtD is a total cliffhanger. (I think, combined, it strolls to the area of 100K.) And while NtD is a really interesting and unique idea, and an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride, by the time I got to the sequel I was barely interested in the characters anymore b.c I felt too much of it was terribly OOC for everyone involved. And the Shep!Whump was bordering on ridiculous about half-way through.
