Steampunk!John and Rodney

I  was just wondering if there have been any Steampunk versions of Atlantis or earth or even a Steampunk AU?  It's a bit of a long shot, but something I'd really like to see.  I guess the Hoffans are the closest culture on the show.  

I can't believe I'm the only person who craves a bit of Gentleman Inventor!Rodeny and Roughneck Explorer!John journey to the ocean's floor in search of the mythical city of Atlantis in their brass dirigible!  

McShep is always adored, but any Steampunk at all would be awesome.

Oh! Don't be embarassed, I only just discovered this awesome genre myself. Check it out on Wikipedia for a better description...but basically ita where the asthetics of victorian science fiction are applied to modern fiction. So you'll get spaceships made of brass, powered by steam engines...think Lyra's world in the His Dark Materials trilogy. As a fashion thing it's cell phones made of brass and glass, or lap tops with wooded cases and old typewriter keys (you can find images of custom items like this on line.) Steampunk fans might dress in mod/victorian attire...it's quite a cool image.

lol I have an awesome steampunk SGA story, but it's still all trapped in my head, sorry. I'll put it on the burner after the current project.
