It's Always Autumn in the Old Trees of Despair
I was wondering if there were any other stories out there that deal with Sheppard being held captive and developing a form of Stockholm Syndrome with the person or people who kept him imprisoned. Would like the story to deal with the aftermath in some way and John realizing he was mentally manipulated as well as anything else.
Any one have any rec's? I know its tough one b/c it this type of story really has to be developed to be believable.

It's a looong and plotty story about John and Rodney being taken captive and held for a very long time. Developing relationships, (some not so voluntary) and adapting to their surroundings. Turns out that coming back can be just as hard as being gone... It's in the end a McShep story.
