sgarecfinders | Medical Malpractice Fics? (Reply)

Does anyone know of any fics involving medical malpractice? What I want is stories where someone, be it doctor, nurse, etc., is incompetent/uncaring/makes a stupid decision/something of that sort, and Sheppard suffers for it. Doesn't have to be the main plot of the story, or even a huge part of it, just so it's there. I'd like it best if Carson is involved - not the one doing something wrong, but being furious over what happened, taking care of Shep, being protective, etc. Other team members being involved/angry is good too, but I'd really love Carson to be there.

An example of what I'm looking for is chapters 6-7 of Titan5's The Day of Reckoning where a new nurse,

getting tired of keeping an eye on Shep as he sleeps to make sure he doesn't take off again, and wanting to chat with another patient instead, puts him in restraints for a few minutes. He then wakes up and panics, because he's just gotten back after having been restrained and tortured.

Please, no slash. Other than that, I'm pretty open as far as plot possibilities. Doesn't necessarily have to take place on Atlantis, it could be on Earth, or offworld (as in Stealth Dragon's Good Intentions). But if it is on Atlantis I'd prefer if it wasn't the result of deliberate malice and forethought, as in someone who's specifically come to Atlantis in order to hurt/assassinate Sheppard (though I am open to trying such a story, if you've got a particularly wonderful one ;) ).
