McShep touch stories

One of the first fics I ever read in this fandom was 'Transference', by semivowel.  I loved how John and Rodney came to depend on one another to feel grounded and secure.

What I'm looking for is fics that, through the use of touch or otherwise, show McKay and Sheppard beginning to depend on one another more and more, possibly without fully realizing it.

...and I'm doing this in the middle of leading a 'study hall'. Are you concurrently lecturing and typing? Because if you are, color me VERY impressed. ;D

(I picture you in a lecture hall with a bunch of students working on the latest horribly difficult algebra/chemistry/physics problem while you covertly scan sgagenrefinders.)

Haha no, it's more like...pretending to take notes while the incredibly arrogant but attractive TA tries to get across why buffer solutions aren't really buffer solutions if they're not a common to my Neanderthal classmates...*sigh*...I seriously need to move on and I don't know get laid if all else fails. (the last part's a joke. though if Joe flanigan were my lover I'd get to it right away haha...*facepalms*...I need to get a life and stop fantasizing hot men I'm NEVER going to have)

I remember there being another once where like.. it's was a AU story and people had different abilities like...

John was a "charmer" and he could convince people, Rodney was a "shield" generator and stuff like that, maybe you could ask around, John was very sensitive to touch in this one and it was generally a nice fic to read... and i have no idea what it's called of course...

I haven't read either of these stories, but I think that one of them may be what you're looking for - one of the SGA Big Bang (http://sgabigbang.talkoncorners.net/) stories was a mutant AU one, and then there's coyote_sga which is an mutant 'verse as well.

oops sorry, i forgot to put common "ion", somehow the word "ion" just didn't make it into the sentence.

my TA's not very good. I don't know how he made it into graduate school...but he's got a nice face! that's a plus. I can stargaze distractedly...
