Rodney Interacting with People Outside the Program on Earth

I just finished reading Bright Lights and Shadows by nox and it put me in the mood to read other fics where Rodney encounters people he used to know and they realize that Rodney is different then he used to be. He's experienced war, etc. Bonus if John is with him as protection while he's on earth. Slash or Gen is fine with any rating, the longer the better.
