McKay in trouble

Hi there!

Am on a quest for all the best McKay-in-peril fics out there - woke up in the mood for some good h/c.

Am especially interested in kidnap/hostage fics, tiedup fics - I don't mind gen or slash, but I do love a happy ending.

Well, for a really great long, complex and fantastic story, I would recommend puddle_of_goo 's A Life Less Ordinary Series.

It follows seasons 1 & 2 somewhat loosely and in several of the Chapters Rodney is in peril but the most recent additions, Chapters 10 & 11, feature the whole team falling into a world of hurt but it is especially hard on Rodney. Be aware that John & Rodney are in a long-term BDSM relationship by Chapter 10. This series is really worth the read.

I didn't think I saw a suggestion for her on here, but anything by NotTasha (http://www.nottasha.com/atlantis.htm)'s fics are pretty much Rodney whump galore. :) She writes purely gen, but if you're in the mood for Rodney whump her stuff is so worth it.

Some of these folks write only gen, some write both gen and slash, some write both gen and het. I usuallly look for their stories on FanFictionNet, as I can check if a given story is complete, its length, and whether or not there's any pairing; alternatively, most, if not all, also have sites on LJ.

That's the one -- and I am an idiot -- I looked on FFN for this story, but by title, instead of by author, which would have made lots more sense (there are over 37K stories on FFN with Missing in the title!). The link I had to this (it's a few years old) was from Gateview, which I fear is no longer... Thank you, michelel72, for finding this link!
